It felt like I had been waiting to do this session since their wedding. I’ve known Erica & Carsin for years. My mom, stepdad, and I worked with these two at Mission Ridge, our local ski and board resort. I also had the privilege of photographing their sweet October wedding a few years ago, which was pretty much the epitome of Fall perfection.

Flash forward and now they’re expecting a little boy, which will be the perfect addition to their little family. I remember this season of life so well: eagerness to meet the little baby that’s been increasingly active in momma’s tummy. Overwhelming affection for the partner that has been so supportive in the journey of pregnancy. Excitement for the months ahead full of transition and baby snuggles.  I just know they are going to journey through this season will humor and grace!

Oh! And this location. Not only does it shine with gorgeous sunset light, it holds a sentimental place in their hearts. Carsin used to bring Erica up this mountain in the early days of their relationship. How nostalgic that they incorporated it into their maternity session. Enjoy!
