Shauna & Matt | Champion Orchards, Lake Chelan Wedding

Shauna and Matt got married at Champion Orchards, tucked back in the beautiful green hillsides of Manson, WA. On my way to Shauna and Matt’s wedding, I remember thinking how perfect a day to get married: it was bright with a mild breeze, and in comparison to past summers, the valley surrounding the lake had not filled with smoke quite yet due to fire season and the sky was bright blue, boasting the fluffiest white clouds.

Upon officially meeting Shauna, she instantly struck me as a classic beauty: red hair and the most contagious laugh, and Matt… absolutely in awe of every move Shauna made.

A few sweet details of their day:

Shauna and Matt flew all the way up from their home state of California to get married at this venue, owned by some of their close family members. And every single one of their guests flew up from California as well. The second I learned this, I remember feeling shivers up and down my spine. How amazing… how absolutely and incredibly dedicated. How blessed and loved Shauna and Matt are to have friends and family willing and eager to travel hundreds of miles to witness the day they say “I do.” Their day was truly spent encircled with their closest friends and family.

Shauna and Matt had of course talked about wedding dresses beforehand, however Matt had no way of knowing what to expect until their first look day-of. Shauna remembered how much Matt loved the classic, long-sleeve dresses, so she surprised him with a long-sleeve lace coverup over her sleek silk corset-topped dress. It was the perfect combination of simple, classic, and absolutely stunning!

Shauna kept a letter from a family member who could not attend the wedding in her pocket the entire day. She specifically asked me to take a picture of it peaking through the silk of her dress. I have included this image in the gallery.
